"SFDA" Warns from a Fake Slimming Product

SFDA warned from product under the name  of Paiyouji (Paiyouji natural slimming capsule) which is marketed by Perfumery shops and social networking websites as a natural product for weight loss and slimming, while it is fake and contains restricted pharmaceutical substances and carries misleading allegations.

SFDA explained in a statement, that the analysis in its laboratories showed that the marketed product is fake, and SFDA cancelled its registration and banned its sale after subsequent studies proved that it is not safe and puts a threat to health with serious side effects and high risks of cardiovascular disease, in addition to the presence of "Phenolphthalein" in the product, which it’s a laxative substance that gives an effect of losing weight.
