SFDA CEO inaugurates DIA Middle East Conference

<p>His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, inaugurated the first Drug Information Association (DIA) Middle East Conference in Riyadh, which will be from 13 to 14 February 2023 in partnership with the SFDA.</p>

<p>The conference focuses on effective regional and international initiatives, and works to enhance dialogue and cooperation to advance regional health care, and develop solutions throughout the drug life cycle (lifecycle management), by exchanging best practices and finding solutions to the challenges facing the pharmaceutical sector in the region.</p>

<p>The conference will also highlight the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support and increase the access of innovative medicines to patients. </p>

<p>It is noteworthy that the conference is attended by the World Health Organization, regional health authorities, industry leaders in the Middle East, academics and patient representatives. Its program covers eight tracks, including innovation, regulatory convergence, chemistry, manufacturing and control (CMC), quality, pharmacovigilance, access and others. </p>
