SFDA’s CEO Attends Opening of RGMBS 2023

<p>His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham Aljadhey today attended the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit (RGMBS). The two-day summit is being held in its second edition, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. It was inaugurated on his behalf by His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, in the presence of Their Excellencies the Ministers, and with the participation of a group of scientists, experts and interested people.</p>

<p>H.E. Dr. Aljadhey participated in the dialogue session entitled (Building a future biotechnology ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), along with His Excellency the Minister of Investment Eng. Khaled Al-Falih, His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Mr. Bandar Al-Khorayef, and His Excellency the Executive Director General of Health Affairs at the Ministry of National Guard Dr. Bandar Al-Knawy.</p>

<p>H.E. Dr. Aljadhey also visited SFDA’s pavilion in the accompanying exhibition.</p>

<p>RGMBS aims to consolidate the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a global gateway to medical biotechnology, through building global partnerships for medical biotechnology, and introducing programs to develop the national pharmaceutical industry.</p>
