SFDA CEO Holds Virtual Meeting with President of German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment

<p>His Excellence the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, met virtually Wednesday with the President of German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR), Professor Dr. Andreas Hensel.</p>

<p>During the meeting, they reviewed the goals and tasks of SFDA, as well as those of BfR.</p>

<p>The two sides also discussed ways of joint cooperation in areas of food safety and consumer health protection, in addition to areas of research and training, knowledge exchange and scientific advice.</p>

<p>BfR institute, which was established in 2002, is one of the leading supervisory authorities concerned with food safety, products, chemical safety, pollutants in the food chain, animal protection and consumer health protection.</p>
