SFDA extends period for submitting requests for compliance forms for food transportation during Hajj

<p>The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has extended the period for submitting requests for compliance forms for food transportation means for facilities under its control, in order to facilitate the process of examining food transportation through entry points in Makkah.</p>

<p>SFDA explained that the application mechanism requires verifying the safety of the means of transportation and their compliance with the health and technical requirements, and filling out the self-assessment of the means of transportation through the barcode, and then a compliance form is issued if the means of transportation meets the requirements of the approved means of transportation.</p>

<p>SFDA stressed the importance of logging in to the system through the username registered in the Food System (FIRS) or the GHAD system.</p>

<p>It is noteworthy that SFDA began receiving requests yesterday (Tuesday) June 21, 2022 and will continue until July 14, 2022.</p>
