SFDS Holds Training Workshop for Employees of Bahraini National Health Regulatory Authority

<p>The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) organized a virtual training workshop for employees of the Bahraini National Health Regulatory Authority, entitled "Principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Inspection Procedures", as part of the continuous cooperation between SFDA and the Bahraini National Health Regulatory Authority</p>

<p>During the workshop, they reviewed the importance of factories applying the principles of Good Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and provided an overview of the administration and the tasks of the pharmaceutical factories department, the different types of inspection, the importance of qualifying the inspection team, and the procedures required before the inspection visit.</p>

<p>The workshop also focused on the procedures taken during the inspection visit and how to inspect the various areas within the factory such as production areas and quality laboratories, writing the inspection report and responding to observations.</p>
