A Number of SFDA Employees Participated in "Activities of Authorizing Products and Procedures of Conformity Assessment" Symposium

<p align="justify">Some of SFDA employees participated in a symposium entitled "Activities of Authorizing Products and Procedures of Conformity Assessment", which was organized by the Saudi Arabia authority of standards and specifications. The participants were: food consultants and specialists, chemists and specialists of medical devices from SFDA different sectors.<br />
During the symposium several aspects had been discussed. It was started with King Abdulaziz Reward of Quality and proceeded by the body of authorization and its role in developing the national economy. The third issue was about the quality mark and certifications of products in the Kingdom "the reality and expectations". The fourth aspect dealt with the requirements and conditions of laboratories authorization i.e. reality and expectations of authorizing conformity assessment bodies in the K.S.A. After that, attendants listened to a speech about specifications of Quality Administration- IZO 9001. At the end of the symposium, the attendants had the opportunity to ask and inquire about what had been discussed.</p>
