SFDA Participated in the 21st. Forum of Environmental Health Directors

<p align="justify">SFDA has organized an orientation exhibition about SFDA during the 21st. Forum of Environmental Health Directors activities, held in Al Hassa District and entitled:” The Latest Technologies in the Fields of Environmental Health”. The Forum , which is held during the period 21-25/4/1432H, was opened by His Highness Prince Badr bin Mohammed bin Jalawi, Governor of Al Hassa District. The purpose of the Forum is to create healthy environment in urban communities that face urban community issues and challenges and to share experiences of professionals and experts in this field, during the forum.<br />
SFDA, represented by Food Sector, has presented two study papers, one addressed development of technical skills in the field of environmental health control &amp; surveillance and the second paper discussed chemical pesticides and heavy elements and their impact on health, and appropriate procedures for disposal of these pesticides which are harmful to human beings<br />
It worth mentioning that this forum, organized by Amanat of Al Hassa will continue for a period of five days and is trying through its sessions to come up with recommendations that serve the environmental health field, through participation of several public and private sectors</p>
