SFDA Hajj Committee Held its First Meeting for the year 1436H and discussed its Programs

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">H.E. The Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Almishal opened the first  meeting of SFDA Hajj Committee  for the year 1436H in the presence of the concerned sectors and executive departments representative.. During the meeting held in Riyadh, Dr. Almishal said that SFDA will be honored by serving the pilgrims through its mandate during Hajj season and  in view of the directions of the Supreme Hajj Committee chaired by HRH Crown Prince Successor, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz. He confirmed that SFDA strives to ensure safety of food, security and efficacy of drug and safety and efficiency of medical devices &amp; products to pilgrims, in  Addition to providing pilgrims with important guidelines to guarantee safety of food, Adahi meat during Hajj , means of protection from food intoxication and food –carried diseases.<br /></p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">The chairman of SFDA Hajj Committee, Executive Director of Local Markets, Dr. Mohammed Al Nassir and the committee representatives reviewed the obstacles encountered by the committee during Hajj season in the year 1435H, in addition to sector’s vision and  the proposed SFDA Awareness Program  during Hajj and how to bring SFDA and other involved government entities mandate to success. </p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA exerts huge efforts during Hajj seasons to ensure safety of food and Adahi meat through its field teams and  inspectors in Makkah and Madinah.</p>
