Ukrainian Vice Minister of Agriculture Policy Discusses Meat Exportation with SFDA

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">H.E. Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal discussed today with the Ukrainian delegation of Agricultural Sciences Academy, headed by the Vice Minister of Agriculture &amp; Food Policy, Mr. David Valerie, at his office at SFDA in Riyadh, the possibility of mutual cooperation between Okrainia &amp; KSA in the field of food export and the procedures of Food Organization  registration  at SFDA. The meeting also overviewed health requirements and standard specifications for imported food, through which SFDA aims to ensure safety of food and its validity for human use. The Ukrainian part reviewed a number of lamb meat products, methods of canning and preservation in addition to food safety assurance procedures. The Ukrainian delegation showed their interest in exporting several of plant and animal products to the Kingdom’s market as it is one of the major markets in the region.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">The meeting was also attended by H.E. SFDA VP for Food Sector, Dr. Salah Almiman and H.E the Executive Director of Imported Food Control, Dr. Khaled Almershid and the Director of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Abdul Rahman Alghareeri and Ambassador of Ukrania to the Kingdom Mr. Peter Kolos.</p>
