Omani Consumer Protection Delegation Visits SFDA

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">​A delegation from Consumer Protection Organization of Oman Sultanate, headed by Dr. Saied bin Khamis Al Kaabi, visited SFDA’s Head Office, today. The delegation was welcomed by H.E. The Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal. A video presentation was delivered during the visit, overviewing SFDA’s vision, mission and mandate, in addition to a presentation about SFDA’s Food, Drug, Medical Devices &amp; Products and Planning &amp;IT Sectors.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">The two parties discussed the means of strengthening cooperation between them in the field of consumer protection and particularly in the area of food, drug, medical devices &amp; products and consumer awareness. Both parties emphasized that the shortest road to consumer protection is consumer awareness, himself, as the first defense line, in addition to the importance of extensive consumer awareness program as they  represent the focal point of control .</p>
