SFDA Awarded ISO 9001 Certification

<div style="text-align:justify"><p class="ms-rteElement-P">In continuation of SFDA Medical Devices &amp; Products Sector efforts in implementation of the International Quality Standards, the sector was awarded the ISO 9001 Certification from SAI Global in the field of Quality Management Requirements.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">H.E. Dr. Saleh bin Sulaiman Altayar, Medical Devices &amp; Products Sector received the ISO 9001 Certification from H.E. Mr. Mohammed Alyomen , UMB General Manager, representative of Canadian Global SAI in the Kingdom.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">All Sector’s business processes and procedures were verified and audited by ISO authorized representative, as  a requirement for awarding this certificate. This accomplishment  guaranteed commitment to quality standards in all operations, implementation of international standards and conditions and best practices in all Sector’s executive departments which guaranteed standardization of business deliverables. </p>
<p>It worth mentioning that the sector relied on in-house national resources in building the quality management system. These resources were sent on scholarships to acquire high university degrees from international universities and are practically trained on advanced quality practices such as Lean Six Sigma and advanced operation solutions  practices, in order to build and develop the quality management system according to international standards.</p></div>
