SFDA Hosted a Team of Students & Teachers from Prince Sulman University - Al Kharj

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">​SFDA received a delegation of the teaching staff and students of the faculty of medicine, dentistry and applied medical sciences from Prince Sulman University, Al Kharj, at SFDA Head Office on Sunday 26/12/1433H,  in view of support, activation of cooperation  and joint-works between the two parties.</p>

<div>At the beginning of the tour Dr. Mohammed Al Eqaili, SFDA Vice President for Planning &amp; IT Sector delivered a briefing about SFDA business and its role of control to ensure safety of food, security of drug and efficiency of medical devices and products. </div>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">Afterwards, the delegation overviewed the business environment closely via sectors’ representatives by delivering a presentation on drug sector and  surveillance drug chain including drug registration, clearance and Pharmacovigilence. This was followed by a presentation about control of medical devices &amp; products and then a presentation about food sector’s laboratories. Then the  students toured SFDA Head Office&gt; This visit will augment cooperation opportunities an create fields of hoint work between the two parties.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">It worth mentioning that this visit comes in line with SFDA’s intention to extend cooperation ties with all entities, including educational institutions, at all levels. SFDA recently signed a collaboration &amp; strategic partnership agreement  with Prince Sulman University of Al Kharj.</p>
