SFDA visits King Abdullah University for Science & Technology (KAUST)

The delegation was headed by H.E Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed AL Kanhal and  Vice President for Food Sector Dr. Ibrahim Al Mehaizie, Vice President for Drug Sector Dr. Saleh Bawazir, Vice President for Medical Devices &amp; Products Sector Dr. Saleh Altayar and Assistant CEO for Planning &amp; IT, the Director of Projects and Maintenance Dr. Abdullah Al Masoud and Director of Public Relation &amp; Communications Mr.Mazin Al Ismail Nad CEO Advisor for Media affairs Mr. Idrees Aldrees</p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">Engineer Nazmi Alnasr, Vice Principal of KAUST welcomed SFDA delegation after their visit to KAUST laboratories and campus &gt; He delivered a brief presentation about the university since it was an idea in the mind of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques until it came to reality in an unprecedented achievement.</p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">A team from SFDA reviewed the studies &amp; researches conducted by KAUST about food, drug, medical devices &amp; products and the use of Nano Technology in sample analysis. Also, mutual cooperation between SFDA and KAUST was discussed to ensure safety of food, drug and medical devices &amp; products and make use of the latest findings of researches and scientific studies in the field of development and improvement of human food and drug.</p>
