Ministers Council Approved a Regulation That Includes Rules and Procedures of Registering Medical Devices

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz headed the session which was held by the Ministers Council on Monday afternoon in Alyamama Palace in Riyadh. Several resolutions have been made by the Council according to the agenda; one of them regards the regulation that includes rules and procedures of registering medical devices; and that is the text of it: <br />After reviewing the memorandum of the ministerial committee for administrative organization which regards the notion of issuing a regulation that includes rules and procedures of registering medical devices, the Council has decided that the SFDA sets it and supplies any requirements; such as: <br /><br />1. Humane cadre and financial needs.<br />2. Technical specialists who assess the performance of medical devices, training and missioning worker of this area. <br />3. Having flexibility in setting working mechanisms that relate to duties of registering medical devices.</p>
