The SFDA Attended the Workshop of "Stakeholders Participation in International Standardization"

The SFDA represented by its food and drug sectors, participated in the &quot;ISO/ SASO Regional Workshop on Stakeholders Participation in International Standardization&quot; which was organized by the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization from 15 to 16 -3- 1429H, in cooperation with the &quot;International organization for Standardization&quot;, ISO. The workshop dealt with several aspects about standardization as:</p>
<p align="justify">- An introduction about working with the &quot;International organization for Standardization&quot;, ISO. <br />- Technical regulations and standards, their usage and reference to international standardization.<br />- A show from the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization about the regional issues and challenges that face standardization. <br />- The influence of individual rules and system in standardization projects.</p>
<p align="justify">The delegation of the SFDA was headed by his Excellency the vice executive president of food affairs Dr. Ibraheem bin Saad Almuhaize, beside a number of the SFDA consultants and employees. </p>
