SFDA Vice President for Medical Devices & Products Holds a Workshop in Tokyo about Medical Devices & Products Control Regulations

H.E SFDA Vice President for Medical Devices &amp; Products, Dr. Saleh Al Tayar visited Japan to hold a workshop on KSA Medical Devices &amp; Products Control Regulations attended by medical devices and products firms and manufacturers in Japan. During the workshop, a presentation was delivered about the Kingdom’s laws and regulations for control of medical devices and products and complementary procedures, in addition to registration and licensing regulations for medical devices and products firms, importers, distributers and legal representatives of foreign medical devices &amp; products manufacturers. The workshop also included an introduction to the Saudi Food &amp; Drug Authority.</p>
<p align="justify">It worth mentioning that the workshop was held in Tokyo on Sunday &amp; Monday 4th &amp; 5th, of Jumada 1 1431 AH (18-19 April 2010) and was attended by a representative from the Royal Embassy of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques in Japan and several representatives of Japanese medical devices and products manufacturers and organizations.</p>
