SFDA Intensified Control on Sweets Factories During Eid Holidays

<div style="text-align:justify"><p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA intensified its control efforts on food organizations during Eid Al Fitre holidays. SFDA prepared a control plan which included increased inspection visits to food organizations and in particular sweets factories that have dozens of branches in different regions. SFDA checked and confirmed compliance of such factories with health requirements related to production of these foods, validity of the raw materials and finished products before sending them to markets during Eid.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA continues work during Eid holidays in head offices ,branches and points of entry to complete release procedure of food, drug and medical devices &amp; products by inspectors.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA assigned a number of its employees in the different sectors to proceed with the works during Eid Al Fitre holidays at all critical sites and to continue with the control and inspection role of SFDA, in addition to electronic  registration of organizations, requests for goods release, queries, provide information about transactions and applications status via SFDA website in its endeavor to facilitate imports ang guarantee safety of food, safety and efficacy of drugs and safety and efficiency of medical devices and products. </p></div>
