SFDA Warns Against Using the Batch Number (MC1605) of "Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution" as it is Possible to Lead to Conjunctivitis

<div>Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) warned from using the product (Biotrue multi-purpose solution), which has the batch number (MC1605), duo to the possibility of causing some side effects to the consumer, such as Conjunctivitis, Redness, Irritation and Itching.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>

<div>SFDA explained that it tested samples of the solution produced by (Bausch + Lomb Inc.) in Italy, and found that the batch number (MC1605) which expire on May 2019 do not comply with the standard (ISO 14729: 2001) and might causes some side effects, such as Conjunctivitis, Redness, Irritation and Itching.</div>

<div>SFDA pointed out that the precautionary measures included stopping the sale and use of the product from the same batch number.</div>

<div>SFDA called on consumers to ensure if the product is part of this warning by looking at the batch number and to discontinue using the product as a precaution for the complications it might cause.</div>
