SFDA Wins the First Place of “Health Awareness Innovation” Award

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">  SFDA, represented by Drug Sector won the First Place of Health Awareness Committee ‘Hayatuna’ “Innovation in Health Awareness” Award, in Health Awareness Publications.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">H.E. Deputy Minister for Social Affairs, Mr. Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Al Hadalq, announced winners during the event sponsored by him in Riyadh on Tuesday evening, 12 Safar, 1434H. The prize was received by Abdul Rahman S. Al Sultan, pharmacist, Executive Director of Communication &amp; Awareness Department on behalf o Dr. Saleh A. Bawazir, VP for Drug Sector.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">Dr. Bawazir said that achieving this award by Drug Sector is an evidence of SFDA’s  great consideration of awareness programs and publications, in particular, which are produced by adopting certain mechanism to present and disseminate simple, attractive and amusing scientific topics and evaluating and updating same with new information and media.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">Dr. Al Sultan said that the competition in the field of awareness publications was very hard and included 29 competitors from public and private sectors, presenting the highest category among  all competitors. Yet, SFDA scored the highest points in terms of scientific content, innovation, technical design or distribution. He confirmed that Drug sector will continue updating their publications and migrating them to electronic media to make them always available on the social communication media.</p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">It worth mentioning that “Innovation in Health Awareness” Award is organized by Health Awareness Committee and is targeted to professionals and stakeholders in the field of health awareness, public health, public &amp; private sectors and civil community organizations. Competition is divided to 4 categories viz: Editing, Publications, Technical Production and Social Participations</p>
