SFDA Participated in the International Kidney Diseases Conference 2011, in Jubail

Medical Devices Sector has represented SFDA in the International Kidney Diseases Conference 2011, held in Jubail under the title: “ Challenges &amp; Hope” aiming to realize scientific communication in the field of kidney diseases and to enhance performance of kidney medical professionals in both scientific and professional areas and create a platform for sharing ideas and visions between the respective authorities within the Kingdom and abroad to improve treatment of kidney patients and help them to understand their disease and method of treatment using the best and easiest methods. The sector has participated in the conference with a speech delivered by Dr. Saleh bin Suleiman Al Tayyar, SFDA Vice President for Medical Devices , in Opening Session wherein he highlighting the role and function of SFDA as well as Medical Devices  role in surveillance and control of medical devices in the Kingdom in addition sector’s achievements while he emphasized on the importance of cooperation between SFDA and  healthcare providers in the KSA.</p>
<p>The conference was held at the Royal Commission of Jubail premises during the period 1-2 Jumada 1, 1432 H (5-6 April 2011G).</p>
