SFDA CEO Meets with Company Representatives and Citizens in the Eastern Province

The CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, met with executives and representatives from the food, drug, and medical device sectors, as well as citizens benefiting from the Authority's services, at the SFDA’s branch headquarters in the Eastern Province.

During these meetings, participants discussed the ongoing development of the food, drug, and medical device regulatory systems. They reviewed current challenges and explored future opportunities aimed at strengthening regulatory compliance and supporting investment in these vital sectors.

Dr. Aljadhey emphasized that the safety and quality of products provided to the Kingdom’s citizens and residents remain a fundamental priority. He highlighted the importance of constructive communication with the private sector, noting that reviewing industry proposals helps improve the investment climate while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Additionally, Dr. Aljadhey met with the citizens to hear their feedback and observations. He stressed the SFDA’s commitment to enhancing the beneficiary experience and increasing transparency, ensuring that the Authority’s services continue to evolve in line with societal aspirations and performance efficiency.
