SFDA CEO Meets with Saudi Students and Cultural Mission in Washington

The CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Prof. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, recently met with the Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Washington, Dr. Tahani Al-Baiz, along with a group of Saudi scholarship students. The meeting, which took place at the Cultural Mission headquarters, was held on the sidelines of the SFDA’s participation in the 41st Annual Meeting of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE).

Dr. Aljadhey emphasized the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership to empower its youth by providing educational opportunities at leading international universities. He noted that this reflects the leadership’s unwavering support for developing national human capital as a foundation for progress.

Dr. Aljadhey praised the students for positively representing the Kingdom in academic and scientific forums and highlighted their crucial role in transferring knowledge and innovative experiences to thier country, particularly in the fields of food and drug. He further stressed that they are key pillars of innovation, progress, and strategic investment in the nation’s human capital.

Dr. Aljadhey affirmed that today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders, and that their pursuit of science and knowledge will shape the Kingdom’s future. He also listened to their experiences and aspirations, addressed their inquiries, and reaffirmed the SFDA’s commitment to adopting global best practices and enhancing cooperation with leading academic and research institutions.

He concluded by highlighting the vital role of Saudi students in achieving the Kingdom’s vision for sustainable development and prosperity.
