SFDA Showcases Smart Technologies and Interactive Experiences at LEAP 2025

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is participating in the LEAP 2025 Tech Conference, held under the slogan "Into New Worlds". The SFDA aims to showcase the latest smart technologies and digital solutions that enhance product safety, ensure the availability of medicines, and raise awareness of the Authority's areas of work.

The SFDA’s pavilion at the conference features prominent digital systems used throughout the journey of food, medicine, medical devices, and supplies. It also highlights innovative services such as the Drug Alternatives Service, which allows users to easily search for alternative medications, and the Controlled Drugs System (CDS), which helps organize compliance with regulations. Additionally, smart screens displayed statistics and figures on monitoring, licensing, and registration. The pavilion offers an interactive experience for visitors to learn about drug alternative search tools, enhancing their ability to access drug information effortlessly.

The "Science Tales" section within the pavilion provides educational content that covers the stages of food product production from primary sources to consumers. It also reviews the development of the pharmaceutical industry, from herbs and natural materials to the latest pharmaceutical innovations, emphasizing the role of regulatory authorities in ensuring the quality and safety of medicines and medical devices.

LEAP 2025 is the largest global technology gathering, aimed at discussing the future of digital innovation and showcasing the latest technology solutions. It features participation from over 1,000 international speakers and experts, 1,800 exhibitors, and 680 startups from 18 countries worldwide.
