Saudi Food and Drug Authority's CEO Inspects Eastern Region Branch

H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), recently conducted an inspection tour of the Authority’s Eastern Province branch, visiting several affiliated facilities.
The tour began with a visit to the Food Control Laboratory, where Dr. Aljadhey received an overview of the latest technologies used in the examination and analysis of products to ensure food safety. He then proceeded to the inspection and examination building at King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam to observe procedures that guarantee the safety of imported goods before their entry into the local market.
Dr. Aljadhey's visit also included meetings with citizens benefiting from the authority's services. He held discussions with representatives from food, drug, and medical device companies, focusing on improving service quality and identifying areas for potential enhancement.
Dr. Aljadhey emphasized the critical importance of strict adherence to the highest quality standards and complete compliance with the authority's regulations to effectively promote consumer safety. He expressed sincere gratitude to the private sector for their invaluable support and stressed the need for collaborative efforts to achieve national goals in food and drug safety.
