SFDA Highlights Regulatory Responsibilities on Facilities, Products at Lomi Hasawi Exhibition

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) participated in the Lomi Hasawi agriculture exhibition, which hosts officials, business leaders, investors, and farmers.
The exhibition is organized by the Al Ahsa Chamber and runs through Saturday.
During the exhibition, the SFDA will host a workshop focused on its regulatory oversight over facilities and products within its purview. The session will examine the intricacies of registration, licensing procedures, and quality-control methods governing these entities and products.
Through its participation, the SFDA aims to educate and raise awareness among consumers and producers about the safe handling and preservation of food products. It will also showcase food-related programs, including self-assessment, the HACCP system, reporting, and investment support.
