<p><span class="date" ><span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal;">الحاقا لبيان الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء الصادر يوم الجمعة 29 مايو 2020م الموافق 6 شوال 1441هـ ، حول التحذيرات الواردة بخصوص احتمالية ظهور خلل في جودة أدوية مرض السكري المحتوية على مادة (ميتفورمين) يتمثل في تلوثها بالشوائب الكيميائية من عائلة النيتروزامين والتي تُعرف بمادة (NDMA) N-nitrosodimethylamine&nbsp;&nbsp; والتي تعتبر ضمن المواد التي يحتمل أن تكون مُسرطنة (حسب وكالة الأبحاث الدولية للسرطان) في حال التعرض لها بكميات أكثر من الحدود المقبول استهلاكها بشكل يومي لفترات طويلة جداً.</p>

<div style="padding: 0px; border: 0px currentColor; border-image: none; text-align: right;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">وتهيب الهيئة بجميع مستخدمي هذه الأدوية بعدم التوقف عن استخدامها قطعيا الا بعد استشارة الطبيب المعالج. حيث أن إيقاف استخدام هذه الأدوية قد يؤدي إلى عدم التحكم في مستويات السكر في الدم والذي تفوق اضراره المحتملة مخاطر التعرض لشوائب النيتروزامين الموجودة في تلك الأدوية التي تم سحبها احترازيا.</div>
