SFDA Hosts Workshop on Registering, Advertising, and Promoting Food, Feed, and Cosmetic Products

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) held a workshop at its headquarters in Riyadh entitled “Consultative Sessions for Registering, Advertising, and Promoting Food, Feed, and Cosmetic Products.” The workshop, presented by several specialists from the SFDA, highlighted the mechanisms and procedures for registering, advertising, and promoting food, feed, and cosmetic products.

Through this workshop, the SFDA aims to develop effective communication channels with customers and gather their opinions and feedback to improve procedures, enhance service quality, and increase customer satisfaction.

The workshop included several advisory sessions focusing on various topics, including the registration of food, feed, and cosmetic products, as well as the advertisement and promotion of products under the SFDA’s control. It also featured scientific lectures aimed at health practitioners, awareness campaigns on diseases and health education, and discussions on the disclosure and transparency system.

Attendees included importers and manufacturers of pharmaceutical and herbal preparations, food, feed, cosmetics, medical devices, and supplies, as well as employees from the SFDA and health practitioners.
