Minister of Health Visits SFDA's Hajj Operations Center and Inspects Service Readiness

H.E. Mr. Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), visited the SFDA's Hajj Operations Center in Makkah today. The visit aimed to ensure the efficiency of services and evaluate ongoing efforts to enhance the safety of products provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season.

Accompanied by the CEO of the SFDA, H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, the Minister reviewed the advanced technologies deployed by SFDA inspectors during field inspections of food factories and warehouses across Makkah. These innovations include body cameras, smart tablets, and live-streaming systems that monitor inspection operations in real time.

Minister Al-Jalajel also toured the Hajj Operations Center, reviewing its interactive screens and digital dashboards that display live performance indicators. He inspected the Center's 24/7 services, which provide immediate technical and legal support to regulate field inspections, thereby safeguarding the health and safety of pilgrims.
