The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, launched a new employee shuttle service today that utilizes the Riyadh Metro. The service will transport employees via buses to and from the main SFDA building and the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Metro station.

This initiative, developed in collaboration with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), aims to improve daily commutes, reduce traffic congestion, and minimize environmental impact by limiting carbon emissions. It will facilitate convenient and efficient transportation for employees.

During the launch, Dr. Aljadhey embarked on a tour of the Riyadh Metro, starting from the King Salman Oasis station and concluding at the KAFD station. He received a briefing from RCRC officials on the metro's operations and infrastructure. Dr. Aljadhey commended the smooth and efficient operation of the Riyadh Metro and its positive impact on urban mobility.

Dr. Aljadhey emphasized that this project is a significant national achievement in the development of modern transportation infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the importance of utilizing public transportation services to improve the quality of life for residents of Riyadh.

Furthermore, Dr. Aljadhey reviewed the existing bus route for employee transportation. He stated that the SFDA intends to expand this service by adding more routes and stations, enhancing employee mobility and convenience.

The Riyadh Metro is a vital component of the city's public transportation network. It comprises six lines spanning 176 kilometers and serving 85 stations, including four major stations.
