SFDA and World Bank Host Workshop on Scientific Evaluation Methodologies for Pharmaceutical Quality
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and the World Bank recently held a three-day workshop focused on scientific evaluation methodologies for pharmaceutical quality.
During the workshop, participants reviewed the mechanisms and methodologies used by the SFDA to assess drug quality. Christopher H. Herbst, the World Bank's Program Leader for Human Development – GCC Countries, also outlined the Bank's goals and initiatives aimed at enhancing the health sector, along with the partnerships it has formed in this area.
This workshop is part of the SFDA’s ongoing efforts to achieve the objectives of its strategic plan, enhance product safety, and ultimately improve the quality of healthcare while minimizing potential risks.
