SFDA Warns Against Using "FALCON 555 Cologen" duo to Contains High Percentage of "Methanol"

SFDA in cooperation with Ministry of Commerce and Investment has clarified that it withdrawn samples of the mentioned product traded in local markets to ensure their safety. Analysis results revealed that it contains high percentage of "Methanol", which exceeded the permissible limits regarding the safety requirements of cosmetics and personal care products regulations NO. SFDA.CO/GSO 1943:2016
The first product is called "FALCON 555 Cologen", made in KSA with production date 01/01/2018 and it expired after 5 years from date of manufacture.
SFDA has advised consumers to stop using the product and dispose any samples they may have. Additionally, the authority stressed to the importance of buying products from reliable sources that could be traced.
SFDA in cooperation with specialized authorities has taken the necessary actions to follow up product withdrawal from the markets and take the formal steps against non-compliances.
The authority invited consumers to report for any problems or adverse events related to the product by SFDA call center 19999.
