نعم هناك اختلاف؛ حيث يُعطى الأطفال (من 6 أشهر إلى 8 سنوات) والذين لم يسبق أن أخذوا اللقاح من قبل جرعتين؛ بحيث تكون الفترة الزمنية الفاصلة بين الجرعتين 4 أسابيع. هذا بالإضافة إلى أن الطفل (من 6 أشهر إلى 3 سنوات) يُعطى نصف الجرعة المقررة للشخص البالغ.
