The Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom visits Saudi Food & Drug Authority(SFDA)

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">​H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed A Kanhal, Chief Executive Officer of SFDA welcomed today Mr. Ahmed Mukhtar Ghoun, the Ambassador of Turkey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at SFDA Head Office in Riyadh. This visit comes in line with friendship relations between the two countries. The meeting has discussed several issues related to imported food from Turkey, SFDA specifications &amp; conditions required to be met by food manufacturers, in addition to medical devices &amp; products specifications, in SFDA endeavors to ensure safety of food, safety and efficiency of medical devices and products.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">It worth mentioning that SFDA contributes to the enhancement of public health in the Kingdom through supervision and control of food, drug and medical and diagnostic devices &amp; products and through development of their related specifications and standards, whether they are imported or locally manufactured.</p>
