SFDA Warns about an Imitated Inhaler (Valved Holding Chamber) Device

<p align="justify"><br /><br />SFDA has detected an imitated medical product used in connecting Inhaler Devices , for treatment of patients of respiratory system diseases. The imitated device is marketed under the name : “ Air _ O_ Chamber” , which is an imitation of the genuine product “ AeroChamber”. <br />Due to the potential damage that may be caused to the patient by this device , as the patient will not be able to take the right prescribed dose of drug, therefore, SFDA has addressed the concerned authorities to take the necessary actions to ban entry of this product and recall it from the local markets and take the necessary disciplinary actions towards any entity selling or marketing this product.<br />Furthermore, SFDA advises consumers not to use this product and replace it by the genuine product which can be identified by the attached photographs. SFDA also encourages citizens to report about any fake products through the National Center for Medical Devices &amp; Products Reports (<a>http://ncmdr.sfda.gov.sa)portal</a>.<br /></p>
