<p align="justify"> Saudi Food &amp; Drug Authority (SFDA) has recently collected several samples of potable drinking water produced locally, for several runs and production dates in order to determine their compliance with GCC Standard Specification No. 1025/2009 for potable drinking water, which identified the allowed Bromate limit by 10ppm. The result of laboratory tests of Radwa Drops potable drinking water samples, produced and packed by Radwa Drops potable water factory of Yanbu Al Bahr province, revealed that it has exceed the maximum allowed limit of Bromate referred to above.</p>
<p align="justify">Therefore, SFDA warns consumers not to use this water and to dispose of any stock they may have. Moreover, SFDA has addressed the concerned authorities in order to take the necessary action to stop the said factory from production and urge it to recall its product from the local market until it complies with the allowed limit of Bromate referred to above . </p>
<p align="justify">SFDA will continue to check and audit all potable water plants and inspect potable water products traded in the local market and take the necessary disciplinary actions against plants violating the said GCC Standard Specifications referred to above. </p>
