SFDA Signs MOU with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare

<div style="text-align:justify">In the presence of His Excellency Prof. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey, CEO of SFDA and Dr. Daniele Rigamonti, CEO of JHAH, the agreement have signed about memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Saudi Food and Drug Authority and Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare to strengthen efforts and exchange experiences to ensure the safety, efficiency and quality of medical devices, related electronic products and drug in the KSA. </div>
<div style="text-align:justify">SFDA has been represented by Eng. Ali AlDalaan, Vice President of Medical Devices Sector and Abdulmohsen Al-Mukhaild, JHAH Chief Operating Officer.</div>
<div style="text-align:justify">The aim of MOU is to ensure the safety of medical devices, products and related electronic products performance that used in the Kingdom through mutual reporting of defects and failures detected. Additionally, seek to prevent recurrence or minimize its side effects, ensure the quality, safety and effectiveness of circulating drug by establishing Pharmacovigilance Center concerned with early detection of adverse drug reactions and prevent damages caused by drug reactions.</div></p>
