SFDA: Instant Soup Contains Large Amounts of Salt
<p>The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) pointed out that soup, which is a high source of proteins, vitamins, and dietary fiber, is one of the important foods served throughout Ramadan.</p>
<p>The SFDA recommended making soup at home with natural ingredients such oats, lentils, groats, fresh vegetables, and meat and seasoning it with thyme, turmeric, ginger, garlic, and lemon rather than using artificial powders.</p>
<p>The SFDA called against ingesting excessive amounts of instant soup due to its high salt and preservative content.</p>
