SFDA Impose Temporary Ban on Importing Poultry Meat from Polish County

<p>Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has decided to impose a temporary ban the import of poultry meat, table eggs, and their derivatives from the Wielkopolskie County, Republic of Poland.</p>
<p>SFDA exempted poultry meat, table eggs, and their products from the temporary ban, which were subjected to a heat treatment that is capable of eliminating the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus, provided that it conforms to the health requirements and controls and approved standard specifications. Moreover, attaching a health certificate issued by the official authorities accredited to the Republic of Poland proving that the product is free of the virus.</p>
