"SFDA": companies that do not comply with the inclusion of cosmetic products will considered as violation

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA emphasized on the importance of commitment to the inclusion of selling beauty products and add it to the electronic products system, noting that the goods which are not included within the deadline will be considered as a violation and will be allowed to be sold. Sami Falcon Executive Director of Safety and beauty products Department, during a workshop entitled: &quot;The electronic system for the inclusion of cosmetic products&quot; at SFDA headquarters in Riyadh, explained the electronic program how to license beauty factories and warehouses, with presence of the Director of inclusion of cosmetic Meshal Al-Tamimi, Product Management and director of facilities management licenses Sohail Rashid. He Confirmed that SFDA will not give clearance to beauty products shipments unless there is a licensed importer warehouse, pointing to the possibility of storage when third parties provided the licensed warehouse. He also pointed out that the electronically insertion is compulsory for beauty products local manufactured or imported, and it will be implemented starting from 12 Jumada Al Thani 1436 H corresponding to April 1, 2015, SFDA will check the completed requests within 15 days, confirming that the cosmetic products will be exempted from the financial cost for inclusion during 2015. It was emphasized that none listed beauty products will not be allowed to run or sell when mandatory listing period starts.​</p>
