SFDA Closes 7 Non-complying Facilities and Suspends 23 Production Lines in December

<div style="text-align:justify"><div>Inspectors of SFDA carried out 4989 inspections during December, last year, on food, drug, feed and medical devices facilities and cosmetics sales centers across the Kingdom; recording 3178 non-complying, suspending 23 production lines and closing 7 facilities. </div></div>

<div style="text-align:justify">Inspectors seized 41,000 medical products, 33,000 drug packages, 2 million pharmaceutical tablets, 524 pharmaceutical products, 1263 cosmetic products, 822 tons of foodstuffs, 800,000 liters of bottled water, 6 tons of colors and flavors, 150 tons of feed and 14,000 pesticide packages. </div>
