SFDA Chief Executive Officer visited East Region Branch

<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">H.E. The Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal visited SFDA Branch Office in Dammam, East Region, where he reviewed the work flow, progress and mechanism and the level of inspection work at the Branch. </p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">Dr. Al Kanhal met with the working staff and  inspectors at the Branch and urged them to exert more efforts describing the inspectors’ role as critical at the points of entry as it represents the front line in protection against counterfeit goods and products that mean people attempt to import to the country for the sake of money while compromising consumer health. This will add more burdens on the consumer and health care entities in addition to the high losses incurred to the economy of any county that permits such products.</p>
<div style="text-align:justify"><p class="ms-rteElement-P" style="text-align:justify">It worth mentioning th at SFDA strives to establish a complete set of accredited  laboratories in order to inspect and validate imported goods and products in the field of food, drug and medical devices and products, through laboratory inspection and testing of imported samples.</p>
