SFDA Chairs Arab Meeting, Discussing Plan to Study 25 Draft of Arab Standards for Medical Devices and Supplies
<p>The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has chaired the first meeting of the Arab Technical Committee for Standardization of Medical Devices and Supplies, as SFDA chairs the Arab Technical Committee for Standardization of Medical Devices and Supplies (AIDSMO/TC4).</p>
<p>The meeting was held virtually, with the participation of a number of member states of the Standards and Metrology Center of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization.</p>
<p>The inaugural meeting reviewed the work mechanism followed and the importance of harmonizing specifications at the Arab level, discussing the work plan prepared to study the number of 25 draft Arab standards for medical devices and supplies during 2022.</p>
