SFDA’s CEO Meets with Heads of Food Companies

<p>His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, met today at SFDA’s HQ, a number of CEOs of food companies, as part of the program of periodic meetings with the private sector aimed at enhancing communication transparency and partnership.</p>

<p>During the meeting, the Authority reviewed its initiatives to promote and develop investment, the most prominent plans and projects, in addition to the most prominent indicators and data in this field. This includes a decrease in the actual average duration of import and export permit services from (27) working days in 2021 to (7) working days in 2022, an increase in the number of establishments that obtained an (A+) and (A) rating, and a decrease in the number of unlicensed facilities. </p>
