Dr. Aljadhey inspects SFDA’s work during Hajj
<p>His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, inspected today, the workflow at the SFDA’s workplace in Makkah, as part of its participation in the current year’s Hajj season.</p>
<p>Dr. Aljadhey followed up on the SFDA’s supervisory work in clearing food, medicines, devices and medical supplies. He also inspected the imports of medical Hajj missions and medical supplies with pilgrims. He was also briefed on the inspection work that SFDA participates in with government agencies to ensure the safety of food products.</p>
<p>SFDA is present at air, land and sea entry points for pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah, to carry out control and inspection work on food, medicines and medical devices, provide awareness programs, prepare field studies, in addition to participating in joint committees during the Hajj season.</p>
