Governor of Najran Region Receives CEO of SFDA

H.R.H. Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of the Najran Region, received the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, at his office today.

During the meeting, H.R.H. was briefed on the Authority’s key initiatives within its mandate, as well as the regulatory and awareness activities implemented in the Najran Region. These efforts aim to ensure the safety of food, drugs, medical devices, and cosmetic products while enhancing compliance with applicable laws. These efforts contribute to protecting public health and enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

The Governor emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among relevant entities to strengthen the safety system and safeguard community health, commending the SFDA’s proactive role in the region.

For his part, H.E. Dr. Aljadhey expressed his appreciation for H.R.H.’s continued support and oversight. He reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to further advancing its regulatory and awareness programs in the region, in alignment with national development objectives and the pursuit of enhanced service quality.
