Governor of Al Jouf Meets with SFDA CEO to Review Regional Safety Initiatives

H.R.H. Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al Jouf Province, met today with H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), at his office.

During the meeting, the Governor was briefed on the SFDA’s core mandates, including regulatory and awareness initiatives implemented within the Al Jouf Province. These activities are designed to ensure the safety of food, drugs, medical devices, and cosmetic products. Furthermore, these efforts aim to enhance compliance with national regulations, thereby protecting the community and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

H.R.H. Prince Faisal emphasized the importance of integrated collaboration among relevant entities to strengthen the public health and safety system, commending the SFDA’s vital role in these efforts.

In response, H.E. Dr. Aljadhey expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Al Jouf for his continued support and oversight. He reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to advancing its regulatory and awareness activities in the region, aligning with national development objectives and the pursuit of enhanced service quality.
