Briefed with Key SFDA’s Achievements.. HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan Welcomes SFDA President & Staff

<p>HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan welcomed at his office in Ma’athar, today, H.E Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal , CEO of Saudi Food &amp; Drug Authority, SFDA Vice Presidents, Assistants and a number of SFDA staff.</p>

<p>HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan listened to a briefing delivered by the Chief Executive Officer of SFDA about inspection of imported food at the Points of Entry, after being upgraded and supplied with qualified staff and advanced equipment to manage the flow of detrimental foods. The briefing included key roles and statistics of drug sector, major tasks of the joint committee for inspection of ‘Attarat’ stores, main confiscated products and fines imposed by the inspection committee, drug sector’s automated systems e.g. Pharmaceutical Organizations National Register, The National Center for Drug &amp; Poisons Information and Pricing affairs. HRH viewed a brief presentation about the most important achievements of SFDA and key statistics of its three sectors (Food, Drug and Medical Devices &amp; Products), the key roles of Medical Devices &amp; Products Sector, statistics of released / rejected shipments for 2010 and medical devices &amp; products licensing system and their National Register.</p>

<p>Towards the end of the meeting, memorial photos were taken and HRH received a souvenir from the Chief Executive Officer of SFDA in this event.</p>
