Drug Sector Welcomes Al Majma’ah University Students
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA welcomed at its Head Office a student delegation from the faculty of Medicine & Pharmacology of Al Majma’ah University, on Tuesday 2/4/1434H. The delegation was welcomed by a number of Drug Sector’s staff.The students were introduced to drug sector’s business processes, role and divisions in addition to several lectures on SFDA’s Electronic Systems, SFDA’s role of legislation of regulations, licensing of drugs and newpharmaceutical products and the method of dealing with imported drugs. The students had also overviewed the operations mechanism of the National Pharmacovigilence Center and the reporting mechanism of drug side-effects.It worth mentioning that SFDA always aims to increase awareness of all community categories, especially through students visits, by delivering introductory presentations in order to spread health and drug awareness and education and to focus on the importance of the same.</p>
